Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Zephyr Detailing! These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile detailing services ("Services") provided by Zephyr Detailing ("we", "us", "our"). By booking our services, you agree to abide by these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Service Agreement

By scheduling an appointment with Zephyr Detailing, you are entering into an agreement for the provision of mobile vehicle detailing services. Services will be provided as outlined in the booking confirmation, and the customer agrees to pay the agreed-upon price at the time of service.

2. Booking and Cancellations

  • Booking: You may book our services online, by phone, or via email. A confirmation will be sent once your booking has been received and processed.

  • Cancellations and Rescheduling: You may cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance without penalty. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled service may incur a fee of 50% of the service cost.

  • No Show: If the customer is not present at the scheduled time, Zephyr Detailing reserves the right to charge a full service fee and may refuse to reschedule.

3. Service Scope and Limitations

  • Included Services: Services will be provided as per the package selected during booking, as detailed on the Zephyr Detailing website or other promotional materials.

  • Additional Work: Any work outside the scope of the selected package, including but not limited to excessive dirt removal, upholstery cleaning, and engine bay cleaning, may incur additional charges.

  • Damage Disclaimer: While we take great care in performing our services, Zephyr Detailing is not responsible for pre-existing damages, wear and tear, or damage caused by the cleaning process to sensitive materials, such as paint or upholstery, if such materials are in poor condition prior to service.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment Methods: Payments for services are due upon completion of the detailing service. We accept payments via cash, bank transfer, or major credit cards.

  • Pricing: All service prices are as per the rates displayed at the time of booking. Prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.

5. Customer Responsibilities

  • Access to Vehicle: The customer must ensure that the vehicle is accessible at the time of the appointment. If access is restricted (e.g., locked gates, inaccessible parking), the service may not be performed, and cancellation fees may apply.

  • Vehicle Condition: The customer must disclose any known issues with the vehicle (e.g., cracked windshields, peeling paint) prior to the service. Zephyr Detailing will not be held liable for damage to pre-existing conditions that may be worsened during detailing.

  • Safety: The customer is responsible for ensuring that no valuables are left inside the vehicle. Zephyr Detailing is not responsible for loss or theft of personal items during the service.

6. Liability

  • Limitation of Liability: Zephyr Detailing’s liability is limited to the cost of the service provided. In no event will we be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of use of the vehicle, lost profits, or other intangible losses.

  • Force Majeure: Zephyr Detailing will not be held liable for failure to perform services due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, or other events beyond our control.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

We respect your privacy. The information you provide us is used solely for the purpose of providing our services and will not be shared with third parties without your consent, except as required by law. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further details.

8. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zephyr Detailing, its officers, agents, and employees from and against any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of our services, any breach of these Terms, or any act of negligence or misconduct.

9. Modifications and Termination

  • Modifications: Zephyr Detailing reserves the right to modify or update these Terms at any time. All changes will be posted on our website and will become effective immediately upon posting.

  • Termination: Zephyr Detailing reserves the right to terminate the agreement and refuse service to customers who violate these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute arising from the use of our services shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of New Zealand.
